Our Beliefs

The Bible

The Bible is the foundation of our faith. We believe that it is the inspired Word of God, and contains everything we need to know about God, ourselves, and the world around us. From the creation story in Genesis to the final chapter of Revelation, we are dedicated to studying and understanding the timeless truths found within its pages.

Trinity

We believe in The Holy Trinity God eternally existing in three persons. God the father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All of equal essence but different roles.

The Father

God is great. He is all knowing, all powerful, all present, unwavering, completely worthy of all our trust and He is above all Holy. In Him we live , breathe, and have our existence. He is the creator, sustainer, and ruler of the universe. He is a good Father.

The Son

Jesus Christ is all human and at the same time all God. He is the plan for bringing mankind who are far from God back into a right relationship with God The Father. He lived a perfect life, so that He could satisfy God’s demands for perfection. He willingly gave his life on/for our behalf. He defeated death in His resurrection so that we can have life. He ascended to the right hand of the Father preparing for His return.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit’s presence assures us of our relationship with Christ. He testifies of the gospel of Jesus christ. He guides believers into all truth and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sin, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ.

Baptism

Once we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, water baptism is a way for us to publicly declare our new life in Christ. It is also a step of obedience based on God’s commands and allows us to follow the example of Jesus, who submitted himself to baptism to “fulfill all righteousness.” It joins us to the body of Christ. keeping the unity of the church. It brings to life in real time our co-crucifixion with Christ. Being associated with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection through Spirit baptism establishes the basis for our separation from the power of indwelling sin and our walk in newness of life

Communion

We believe in the importance of communion and do it in remembrance of Jesus. It is a time of reflection, gratitude, and a reaffirmation of our faith.

The 5 Fold Ministry

We believe in the five-fold ministry, which includes apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. Each of these roles work together and has a specific purpose and function in building the kingdom of God, strengthening the church, and helping believers grow in their faith.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gift that is found in confessing and believing in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again from the dead. Through His sacrifice, we can have eternal life and the forgiveness of our sins.
